Terms of Service for BBQ Pitmaster Command

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using BBQ Pitmaster Command ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BBQ Pitmaster Command is a barbecue and smoking companion app that provides:
- Multi-probe cook logging with pit and internal temperature readings
- A bundled library of 25 hardwood profiles with flavor intensity and pairings
- 23 meat cuts across 7 categories (beef, pork, poultry, lamb, fish, sausage, game) with target temps and timing
- 12 chef-tested recipes
- 10 rub, brine and sauce formulas
- Cook-stage and probe-target notifications
- PDF cook reports
Important Food Safety Disclaimer: BBQ Pitmaster Command provides reference cooking temperatures and timing as general guidance. Always verify that meat reaches USDA-recommended safe internal temperatures using a calibrated thermometer before serving. The App is not a substitute for professional food-safety training. Cook at your own risk and follow all local fire-safety regulations when operating grills, smokers and open flames.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free Tier: Unlimited active cooks, view last 3 days of cook history, full wood and meat library, 7 free recipes, 6 free rub/brine/sauce formulas. Ad-supported.
- Pro Tier (one-time lifetime purchase): Unlimited cook history, 5 additional Pro recipes, 4 additional Pro rub formulas, PDF cook reports, ad-free experience. Price is displayed dynamically by Google Play in your local currency.
Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google's refund policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and functionality of BBQ Pitmaster Command are the intellectual property of Corithm Flow Matrix. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App. The bundled recipe, rub and wood-pairing content is for personal cooking use only.
5. User Responsibilities
- Use the App for personal cooking and record-keeping only
- Always verify meat doneness with a calibrated thermometer
- Follow USDA safe internal temperature guidelines
- Operate grills, smokers and open flames safely and in compliance with local regulations
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Maintain your own backups of records (data is stored locally only)
6. Limitation of Liability
BBQ Pitmaster Command and Corithm Flow Matrix are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Foodborne illness resulting from undercooked or improperly handled food
- Outcomes of cooks based on bundled recipes, rubs or wood pairings
- Property damage, injury or fire from operating grills or smokers
- Data loss due to device failure or app uninstallation
- Missed notifications due to operating-system battery optimization or device settings
- Service interruptions or app unavailability
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
