Debt & Mortgage Payoff Master ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our debt management and mortgage calculator application.

Data Collection

The App collects NO personal information. All financial data you enter stays on your device only:

• No email, name, or phone number required
• No account creation or sign-in required
• All debt data stored locally on your device only
• No financial data is transmitted to any server
• No cloud sync — all data stays on YOUR device

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does NOT collect:

• Personal financial information (bank accounts, credit card numbers)
• Precise location data
• Phone numbers or SMS access
• Camera or microphone access
• Contacts or call logs
• Device identifiers for tracking (beyond what ad networks use)
• Social Security numbers or tax information

Information Stored Locally

The App stores the following data only on your device using Android's local database (SQLite) and SharedPreferences:

• Debt entries you create (name, balance, interest rate, minimum payment)
• Payment history records
• Mortgage calculator inputs and results
• App settings and preferences
• Premium purchase status
• Achievement badges and progress data

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any server
• Is not accessible to the developer
• Is deleted if you uninstall the app

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Free Users Only)

The free version displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:

• Device advertising identifiers
• IP address
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
• General device information (OS version, screen size)

AdMob's data collection is governed by:

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Premium users: Upgrading to Debt Freedom Pro removes all ads and eliminates AdMob's data collection entirely.

Firebase Analytics

• Collects anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, feature usage)
• Country-level location (not precise GPS)
• App version, device model, OS version
• Crash reports (anonymous, no personal data)

Permissions Required

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET: Load advertisements (free version), send anonymous analytics
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Detect internet connectivity

The App does NOT request:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Contacts
• Phone/SMS
• Precise location
• External storage access

Premium Purchases

Debt Freedom Pro is available as a one-time purchase of $3.99 USD via Google Play Store's In-App Billing system.

Premium purchase data:

• Purchase receipt stored locally on device
• Premium status verified via Google Play Billing Library
• No payment data (credit card, billing address) stored in the App
• Google handles all payment processing securely

Data Security

• All data is stored locally on your device only
• The App uses HTTPS for all network requests (ads, analytics)
• Code obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) prevents unauthorized access to app internals
• No financial data is ever transmitted over the network

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for users age 13 and older. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this App.

Your Rights

Since the App does not collect personal data on any server, there is no data to access, correct, or delete from our servers. You control all data on your device:

• Delete all data: Uninstall the App (removes all local data)
• Clear app data: Android Settings → Apps → Debt & Mortgage Payoff Master → Clear Data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
