Privacy Policy for IronForge: Gym Workout Trainer

Overview

IronForge: Gym Workout Trainer ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our offline gym training app, including the exercise library, workout logger, guided programs, progress analytics, body tracker, equipment guide, diet engine, and calculators.

Data We Collect

Locally on your device only:

• Workouts, logged sets (weight, reps, RPE) and personal records
• Custom routines and program progress
• Body metrics (bodyweight, measurements, body-fat estimates)
• Progress photos you choose to add
• Diet preferences and macro targets
• App preferences (theme, units, reminders) and premium purchase status

We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your workout data, body metrics, or photos on any server. There is no account and no cloud sync — everything stays on your device.

Permissions We Request

• Internet: Required only to (a) display ads on the free tier and (b) verify Google Play in-app purchases.
• Camera: Optional — used only if you choose to capture a new progress photo. Photos are saved locally on your device.
• Notifications: Optional — used only if you enable workout reminders.

To add existing photos, the App uses the Android Photo Picker, which does not require broad access to your photo library.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Displays ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: Processes the one-time Pro Lifetime upgrade. Purchase data is handled by Google.
• Firebase (Google): Used only for app initialization, anonymous analytics, and the Play Integrity check. No identifying user data is sent, and no workout data is uploaded.
• Google Play Integrity: Used to help verify the app is a genuine, unmodified install. No personal data is collected.

Data Storage

All workouts, body metrics, photos, and preferences are stored locally on your device only using SQLite and local files. We do not have access to your data and there is no cloud sync.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third party. The only data leaving your device:

• Ad interaction data (Google AdMob, free-tier users only)
• Purchase verification (Google Play Billing & Play Integrity)
• Anonymous analytics (Firebase)

When you export a routine, meal plan, or progress report as a PDF, or back up your data to a file, that file is shared only through the app picker you choose (e.g. email, cloud drive, messaging). We never receive a copy.

IronForge provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Weight training carries a risk of injury. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise or diet program, and train within your ability.

Age Requirement

The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your Rights

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Using "Delete my data" in the app's Settings
• Clearing the app's data in your device Settings
• Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
