1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Journeyman Electrician Master ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Journeyman Electrician Master is a mobile application designed to help users prepare for Journeyman Electrician licensing exams and perform NEC electrical calculations. The App provides:

• NEC Exam Prep: 700 practice questions covering all NEC categories
• Electrical Flashcards: 150 flashcards with electrical terminology and concepts
• NEC Calculators: 5 professional electrical calculators (wire sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill, box fill, branch circuit)
• Study Modes: Study by category, random practice, diagnostic tests
• Progress Tracking: Track your study progress with detailed statistics
• Cloud Sync: Sync your progress across multiple devices (Firebase)
• Dark Mode: Job site-friendly dark theme (default)

3. No Guarantee of Exam Success

The App is a study aid only. While the App provides comprehensive practice questions sourced from official NEC materials, we do NOT guarantee that you will pass your electrician licensing exam. Exam success depends on:

• Your individual study effort and comprehension
• State-specific exam variations
• Exam format changes by licensing authorities
• Your practical electrical skills (not covered by this App)

You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying exam requirements with your state licensing board
• Ensuring content accuracy for your specific state
• Supplementing App content with official NEC 2023 code book
• Meeting all licensing requirements (apprenticeship hours, education, etc.)

4. Content Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date electrical content sourced from:

• National Electrical Code (NEC) 2023 edition
• NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association)
• State electrical licensing board materials
• NCCER electrical curriculum

However, we cannot guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of all questions, answers, and calculator formulas
• Content remains current with NEC code updates
• Questions match your specific state's exam format
• Calculator results are suitable for all jurisdictions

You agree to:

• Cross-reference critical information with official NEC code book
• Report inaccuracies to dev@corithmflowmatrix.com
• Not rely solely on this App for exam preparation or electrical calculations
• Consult a licensed electrician or engineer for critical electrical design decisions

5. Calculator Usage & Liability

IMPORTANT: The electrical calculators provided in this App are for educational and estimation purposes only.

You agree that:

• Calculators are based on NEC 2023 standards but may not reflect local code amendments
• Results are approximations and should be verified with official code books
• You will NOT use calculator results for critical electrical installations without professional review
• You will consult a licensed electrician, engineer, or local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) for all electrical work
• The App developers are NOT liable for any damages, injuries, or code violations resulting from calculator usage

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Extract, copy, or redistribute App content without permission
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or bypass App security measures
• Share Premium content with non-Premium users
• Use the App to perform electrical work without proper licensing
• Rely on the App as a substitute for professional electrical training

• Cloud sync (study progress backup across devices)

Free Features (No Payment Required):

• First 100 NEC exam questions
• First 30 electrical flashcards
• Basic wire sizing calculator
• Random Practice mode (20 questions)
• Diagnostic Test (50 questions)
• Local progress tracking (device only)

Purchase Terms:

• Payment charged to Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• One-time purchase, no recurring charges or subscriptions
• Premium status tied to Google Play account (available across devices)
• No partial refunds for unused features

Refund Policy: Subject to Google Play's refund policy. Refunds within 48 hours of purchase may be granted at Google's discretion. Contact dev@corithmflowmatrix.com for refund requests outside Google's policy.

8. Intellectual Property

App Content Ownership:

• Calculator algorithms: Proprietary formulas based on NEC standards
• Trademarks: "Journeyman Electrician Master" and app logo are proprietary marks

License Grant: Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use only.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of electrical calculator results

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN MASTER AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Failing an electrician licensing exam after using the App
• Lost income, employment opportunities, or licensing fees
• Inaccurate or outdated content in the App
• Electrical installations based on calculator results
• Code violations, injuries, or property damage resulting from App usage
• Data loss or corruption
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (Premium purchase fee of $3.99 USD).

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase) governed by their own Terms of Service:

You agree to comply with third-party terms when using the App.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity or abuse
• Legal or regulatory reasons

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Premium purchases are non-refundable upon termination for Terms violation.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
