Note: Recipes & Meal Planner does not require an account. All your data (custom recipes, favorites, ratings, notes, meal plans, grocery lists, and recipe photos) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data automatically.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Uninstall the App (Recommended)

Simply uninstalling Recipes & Meal Planner from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including:

Your custom recipes and their photos
Favorites, ratings, and cooking notes
Weekly meal plans
Grocery list items
App preferences and settings
Premium purchase status (note: Pro can be restored via Google Play)

Option 2: Clear App Data (keep the app installed)

To delete all local data while keeping the app installed:

Go to your device Settings
Navigate to Apps > Recipes & Meal Planner
Tap Storage & cache
Tap Clear Storage

Option 3: Email Request

If you have any other deletion request, email us at:

Subject line: "Recipes & Meal Planner - Data Deletion Request"
Include your approximate device type (Android model)

What Data Is Stored Where

On your device: Custom recipes, photos, favorites, ratings, notes, meal plans, grocery lists, preferences (deleted on uninstall)
Google Play: Purchase receipt for Pro (managed by Google; we cannot delete this)
NOT stored: Name, email, phone number, financial data, location data

What Data Is NOT Stored

We do NOT store your name, email, or any personal identifiers
We do NOT store credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Google Play)
We do NOT have a user account system — there is nothing to "delete" server-side
Recipe photos are stored locally on your device only — never uploaded to any server

Deletion Timeframe

Local data: Immediate (upon app uninstall or clearing app storage)
Email requests: Processed within 30 days
