Overview

RV & Van Life Command ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our offline trip-planning, dump-station & boondocking finder, low-clearance bridge warning, tank/battery/propane/tire log, maintenance checklist, and RV calculator app.

Data We Collect

Locally on your device only:

• Trip plans and saved routes
• Tank, battery, propane, and tire log entries
• Rig profiles (length, height, weight, tire specs)
• Maintenance checklist progress
• Favorite dump stations and boondocking sites
• App preferences (units, theme, notifications)
• Premium purchase status

Permissions We Request

• Location (optional): To show the nearest dump stations, boondocking sites, and low-clearance bridges, and to fetch local weather. Location data never leaves your device.
• Notifications (optional): To remind you of maintenance tasks and trip checkpoints.
• Internet: To show ads (free tier), fetch live weather forecasts, and verify in-app purchases.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Displays ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: Processes the one-time Pro upgrade purchase. Purchase data is handled by Google.
• Google Play Integrity: Verifies the app installation is genuine to protect against fraud. No personal data is collected.
• Open-Meteo Weather API (optional, online): When you tap "Refresh Weather", a request is sent with your current coordinates. No personal identifiers are included.

Data Storage

All trip plans, log entries, rig profiles, checklist progress, and preferences are stored locally on your device only using SQLite. We do not have access to your data and there is no cloud sync.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third party. The only data leaving your device:

• Ad interaction data (Google AdMob, free-tier users only)
• Purchase verification (Google Play Billing)
• Anonymous integrity checks (Google Play Integrity)
• Coordinates only when you actively request a weather refresh

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for adult RV and van-life travelers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your Rights

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings
• Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)
