SIE Exam Prep 2026 ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam preparation application.

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• User account information (no accounts required)
• Usage analytics beyond Firebase anonymous tracking

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device using Android's local storage and SQLite database:

• Study progress (questions answered, quiz scores)
• Flashcard study history and mastery levels
• App settings and preferences
• Premium purchase status
• Terms of service acceptance

This local data:

• Is deleted if you uninstall the app
• Is not accessible to the developer
• Never leaves your device

Third-Party Services

Google Firebase

We use Firebase for anonymous analytics and app stability. Firebase may collect:

• Anonymous app usage data (crash reports, performance data)
• No personally identifiable information is collected

Google AdMob (Free Version)

The free version displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:

• Device advertising identifiers
• General location (city-level, not precise)
• Device type and operating system

You can reduce ad tracking:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Or purchase Premium to remove all ads

Google Play In-App Billing

If you purchase the Premium version, Google Play processes the payment. We do not have access to your payment information. Google Play's privacy policy applies.

Google Play Integrity API

We use the Google Play Integrity API for purchase verification. This service verifies that the app is genuine and unmodified. No personal data is collected by this service.

Data Security

• All data is stored locally on your device
• Local data protected by Android's app sandboxing
• No sensitive information is transmitted or stored externally

Children's Privacy

The SIE exam is targeted at individuals preparing for a securities industry career (typically 18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.

Your Rights

• Access: View your study progress in the app's Stats screen
• Delete: Uninstall the app to delete all local data
• Opt-out of ads: Purchase Premium to remove AdMob data collection
• Delete account: See our account deletion page

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
