Terms of Service for Solar & Shading Pro

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Solar & Shading Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Solar & Shading Pro is a solar PV planning and proposal toolkit that provides:
- Annual and monthly production estimates using NREL PVWatts v8 (US Department of Energy public API) with bundled state-average fallback when offline
- Bundled catalog of residential solar panels, inverters, and batteries from major brands
- Bundled rebate database covering the Federal 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit and 23 state-level programs
- Roof pitch, azimuth, and shading inputs with sun-path visualization
- Local lead and project CRM stored on your device only
- Cash vs financed comparison with payback period and 25-year cash-flow table
- PDF proposal export (Pro tier)
Important Disclaimer: Solar & Shading Pro provides estimates for planning and quoting purposes only. NREL PVWatts production figures are statistical estimates based on typical meteorological year data; actual production depends on weather, soiling, equipment quality, installation and grid conditions. Bundled rebate amounts and eligibility rules change frequently and vary by utility, program window, and tax situation. The developer is not a licensed contractor, electrician, financial advisor, or tax professional. Always confirm system design with a licensed solar contractor, confirm rebate availability with your state energy office, and confirm tax-credit eligibility with a tax professional before signing any contract. The developer is not liable for any losses, damages, missed incentives, undersized or oversized systems, code violations, or financial outcomes resulting from use of this app.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free Tier: Full access to the calculator, all bundled panels, inverters, batteries, rebates, sun-path tool, and lead/project CRM with quantity limits (up to 10 leads, up to 3 PDF proposals per month). Ad-supported.
- Premium Tier (one-time purchase): Unlimited leads, projects, and PDF exports. Ad-free experience. Price is displayed dynamically by Google Play in your local currency.
Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google's refund policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and functionality of Solar & Shading Pro are the intellectual property of Corithm Flow Matrix. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App. The bundled rebate and equipment catalog is for informational use only and is not a representation or endorsement of any program or manufacturer.
5. User Responsibilities
- Verify all production estimates with a licensed solar professional before quoting customers
- Verify current rebate eligibility with your state energy office and utility
- Verify tax-credit eligibility with a qualified tax professional
- Maintain your own backups of lead and project data (data is stored locally only)
- Use the App only for lawful business or personal planning purposes
- Do not rely on the App for safety-critical electrical or structural decisions
6. Limitation of Liability
Solar & Shading Pro and Corithm Flow Matrix are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Accuracy of NREL PVWatts production estimates in all conditions
- Changes to rebate program rules, caps, eligibility, or funding
- System undersizing, oversizing, or design errors
- Missed tax credits, missed rebates, or financial losses
- Customer or contractor disputes arising from generated quotes or proposals
- Data loss due to device failure or app uninstallation
- Service interruptions or app unavailability
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
