Privacy Policy — Tenant & Tenancy Manager

Tenant & Tenancy Manager ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how. The App is designed to work offline and does not require an account.

Data stored on your device only

• Tenancy details (address, landlord/agent, start and end dates, rent, deposit and protection scheme reference)
• Rent payments, rent-increase history and shared-bill splits
• Condition / inventory reports with the photos you take at move-in and move-out
• Repair & maintenance requests and their photos
• Key dates and reminders, meter readings, contacts and a landlord-message log
• Documents you add (tenancy agreement, EPC, gas-safety certificate, references, receipts)
• App preferences and Pro purchase status

All of this is stored locally in an on-device database and in your app storage folder. No account, email or sign-in is required, and this data is never uploaded to us.

Google AdMob (free version only)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising ID and general usage data for ad delivery. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

App-integrity verification

The App uses Google Play services (Play Integrity API, via Firebase) to verify that it is running on a genuine device and installed from Google Play. This helps protect in-app purchases from fraud. It does not identify you personally.

In-app purchases

The optional one-time Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed — never your payment details.

Photos & camera

When you add a condition-report, repair or document photo, the image is stored locally in the App's storage folder. The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo. Photos are never uploaded.

Notifications

The App can schedule local reminder notifications on your device for key dates and rent. No notification data leaves your device.

Not a government or legal service

Tenant & Tenancy Manager is an independent tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any deposit-protection scheme, letting agency, local authority, or government housing body. Any deposit-scheme or notice-period information in the App is general guidance, not legal advice, and reminders are calculated only from the dates you enter. Always verify tenancy rules and dates with an official source.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Standard data handled by Google AdMob, Google Play and Play Integrity is governed by Google's policies.

Children

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over.

Your control

You can delete any record in the App, use Settings → "Delete my data" to erase everything, or uninstall the App to remove all local data. See our data deletion page.
