Note: Tide & Fishing Almanac does not require an account. All data (catch log, photos, tackle inventory, GPS coordinates, preferences, premium status) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data automatically.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: In-App (Recommended)
- Open Tide & Fishing Almanac
- Go to Settings tab
- Tap "Clear All Data"
- Confirm deletion when prompted
Option 2: Uninstall the App
- Long-press the Tide & Fishing Almanac icon on your home screen
- Select "Uninstall" or drag to the uninstall area
- All locally stored data is permanently deleted
Option 3: Email Request
If you need confirmation of data deletion or have questions:

Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - Tide & Fishing Almanac"
We will respond within 48 hours confirming that no server-side data exists for your account.
What Gets Deleted
- All catch records (species, length, weight, lure, notes)
- All locally stored catch photos
- All GPS coordinates tagged to catches
- Tackle box inventory and cost-per-trip records
- Favorite NOAA stations and species preferences
- App preferences and theme settings
- Premium purchase status (note: purchase can be restored via Google Play)
What We Cannot Delete
- Google Play purchase records: Managed by Google. Contact Google Play support to request purchase history removal.
- AdMob advertising data: Managed by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for ad data deletion.
Data Retention
Since all user data is stored locally on your device, there is no server-side data retention. Once you uninstall the app or clear data, it is permanently gone and cannot be recovered.
