Terms of Service for Tide & Fishing Almanac

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Tide & Fishing Almanac ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Tide & Fishing Almanac is an offline fishing companion that provides:
- Tide predictions for 3,000+ NOAA stations (bundled offline)
- Solunar major/minor feeding period calculations
- Species-specific bite quality forecasts
- Catch log with photo, GPS, and weather snapshot
- Personal-best tracking by species
- Knot tutorial library (50 fishing knots)
- State-by-state regulation lookup (bag limits, slot sizes, seasons)
- Fishing license expiration reminders
- Tackle box inventory and cost-per-trip tracking
- NOAA marine weather (when online)
Important Disclaimer: Tide & Fishing Almanac provides tide, solunar, weather, and regulation data for planning convenience only. Tide tables are based on NOAA harmonic predictions and may differ from actual water levels due to wind, atmospheric pressure, and storm surge. Regulation data is compiled from publicly published state DNR / Fish & Wildlife sources and may be outdated — always verify current rules with the official state agency before fishing. The App is NOT a substitute for marine navigation charts, official weather warnings, or licensed fishing regulations. The developer is not liable for any losses, fines, citations, accidents, or damages resulting from use of this app.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free Tier: Full tide data and solunar forecasts, knot library, regulation lookup, 1 favorite station, 30-day rolling catch log, ad-supported.
- Premium Tier (one-time purchase): Unlimited catch log + photo storage, unlimited favorite stations, PDF export of catch log, share-image generator, multi-rig tackle box, ad-free experience. Price is displayed dynamically by Google Play in your local currency.
Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google's refund policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and functionality of Tide & Fishing Almanac are the intellectual property of Corithm Flow Matrix. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App. NOAA tide data is in the public domain.
5. User Responsibilities
- Verify current fishing regulations with the official state agency before fishing
- Carry a valid state fishing license while fishing
- Verify tide and weather conditions with NOAA before going on the water
- Maintain your own backups of catch log data (data is stored locally)
- Use the App only for lawful recreational fishing activity
6. Limitation of Liability
Tide & Fishing Almanac and Corithm Flow Matrix are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Accuracy of tide, solunar, weather, or regulation data in all conditions
- Citations, fines, or legal consequences from outdated regulation data
- Marine accidents, injuries, or property damage
- Data loss due to device failure or app uninstallation
- Service interruptions or app unavailability
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
