Overview

Welding Procedure Pro ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our offline welding documentation toolkit, including the WPS & PQR builder, welder continuity tracker, welding calculators, weld symbol reference, and cost estimator.

Data We Collect

Locally on your device only:

• Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) you create
• Welder records and continuity dates you enter
• Cost estimates you build
• App preferences (theme setting)
• Premium purchase status

We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your welding documents, welder records, or cost data on any server. The App requests no camera or device-location permissions.

Permissions We Request

• Internet: Required only to (a) display ads on the free tier and (b) verify Google Play in-app purchases.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Displays ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: Processes the one-time Pro Lifetime upgrade. Purchase data is handled by Google.
• Firebase (Google): Used only for app initialization and anonymous crash diagnostics. No identifying user data is sent.
• Google Play Integrity: Used to verify the app is a genuine, unmodified install for purchase protection. No personal data is collected.

Data Storage

All WPS/PQR documents, welder records, cost estimates, and preferences are stored locally on your device only using SQLite. We do not have access to your data and there is no cloud sync.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third party. The only data leaving your device:

• Ad interaction data (Google AdMob, free-tier users only)
• Purchase verification (Google Play Billing & Play Integrity)
• Anonymous crash reports (Firebase)

When you export or share a WPS, PQR, or cost estimate as a PDF, that file is shared only through the app picker you choose (e.g. email, cloud drive, messaging). We never receive a copy.

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for welding professionals, fabricators, inspectors, and trade students. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your Rights

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Deleting individual documents or welder records inside the app
• Clearing the app's data in your device Settings
• Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)
