1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Welding Procedure Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Welding Procedure Pro is an offline professional documentation and reference tool that provides:
- A Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) builder
- A Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) form
- A welder qualification and continuity tracker
- Welding calculators (heat input, carbon equivalent, suggested preheat, amperage range, unit conversions)
- A weld symbol reference library and self-test quiz
- A filler metal, base metal, and joint design reference
- A job cost estimator
- PDF export and sharing for documents and estimates
NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY STANDARDS BODY: Welding Procedure Pro is an independent third-party tool. It is
NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or certified by the American Welding Society (AWS), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), or any other standards organization or regulatory body. References to code concepts (such as AWS D1.1 or ASME Section IX) are provided as general educational summaries only. Official codebooks are published by AWS (
aws.org) and ASME (
asme.org) and must be purchased from those organizations.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER: The App is a documentation aid and calculator, not a substitute for a qualified welding engineer, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), or the governing code of record. All WPS, PQR, welder qualification, calculation, and cost outputs are for informational and drafting purposes only and must be independently reviewed, verified, and qualified in accordance with the applicable code and the requirements of your authority having jurisdiction before use in production or for code compliance. The developer accepts no liability for any weld failure, code non-conformance, injury, property damage, financial loss, or other harm resulting from reliance on the App.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
- Free Tier: Full access to all welding calculators, the complete weld symbol reference and quiz, and the filler/base metal and joint design reference, plus up to 1 saved WPS, 1 saved PQR, 2 welder records, and 2 cost estimates. Ad-supported.
- Premium Tier (one-time purchase): Unlimited WPS, PQR, welder records, and cost estimates, PDF export/sharing, and an ad-free experience. Price is displayed dynamically by Google Play in your local currency.
Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google's refund policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and functionality of Welding Procedure Pro are the intellectual property of Corithm Flow Matrix. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App. Reference data is provided as a general educational aid only.
5. User Responsibilities
- Independently verify every WPS, PQR, calculation, and welder qualification against the governing code of record before production use
- Consult a qualified welding engineer or Certified Welding Inspector where code compliance is required
- Purchase and follow the official AWS, ASME, or other applicable codebooks
- Use the App as a drafting and learning aid, not as a definitive code authority
- Maintain your own backups of document data (data is stored locally only)
6. Limitation of Liability
Welding Procedure Pro and Corithm Flow Matrix are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Any weld failure, code non-conformance, injury, or property damage resulting from use of the App
- Accuracy or completeness of reference data or calculation outputs in all conditions or codes
- Engineering, qualification, or business decisions made by users
- Data loss due to device failure or app uninstallation
- Service interruptions or app unavailability
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
