Note: Cigar & Whiskey Journal does not require an account. All data (journal entries, tasting records, collection inventory, wishlist, festival logs, and photos) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data automatically.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Uninstall the App (Recommended)

Simply uninstalling Cigar & Whiskey Journal from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including:

All cigar and whiskey journal entries
Tasting records and notes
Humidor readings and aging records
Bar / collection bottle inventory
Wishlist items and festival logs
Attached photos
App preferences and settings
Premium purchase status (note: Pro can be restored via Google Play)

Option 2: Clear App Data (keep the app installed)

To delete all local data while keeping the app installed:

Go to your device Settings
Navigate to Apps > Cigar & Whiskey Journal
Tap Storage & cache
Tap Clear Storage

Option 3: Email Request (for Analytics Data)

To request deletion of anonymous analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics, email us at:

dev@corithmflowmatrix.com

Subject line: "Cigar & Whiskey Journal - Data Deletion Request"
Include your approximate device type (Android model)
Include approximate date of last app use

What Data Is Stored Where

On your device: Journal entries, tasting records, collection inventory, wishlist, festival logs, photos, preferences (deleted on uninstall)
Google Analytics: Anonymous, non-personal usage statistics (requested deletion processed within 30 days)
Google Play: Purchase receipt for Pro (managed by Google; we cannot delete this)
NOT stored: Name, email, phone number, financial data, location data

What Data Is NOT Stored

We do NOT store your name, email, or any personal identifiers
We do NOT store credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Google Play)
We do NOT have a user account system — there is nothing to "delete" server-side
Photos are stored locally on your device only — never uploaded to any server

Deletion Timeframe

Local data: Immediate (upon app uninstall or clearing app storage)
Analytics data: Within 30 days of email request
