Overview

Cleaning Bid Estimator ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our cleaning business estimator and PDF quote generator.

Data Collection

The App collects NO personal information on any server. All client data, quotes, and business profile information you enter stays on your device only:

• No email, name, or phone number required to use the App
• No account creation or sign-in required
• All client records and quotes stored locally on your device only (using Hive local database)
• No data is transmitted to any server we control
• No cloud sync — all data stays on YOUR device

Information Stored Locally

The App stores the following data only on your device:

• Client records you create (name, address, phone, email, quoted price, notes, optional signature)
• Saved quote estimates (room counts, cleaning type, frequency, pricing)
• Your business profile (business name, business phone)
• Default rate preferences (hourly rate, per-square-foot rate)
• App settings (dark mode, terms acceptance)
• Premium purchase status

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to any server we control
• Is not accessible to the developer
• Is deleted if you uninstall the App

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Free Users Only)

The free version displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data, governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Ads Privacy Notice.

Premium users: Upgrading to Pro removes all ads and eliminates AdMob's data collection entirely.

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not see or store payment information. Purchase status is verified locally using the Google Play Billing Library.

Google Play Integrity API

The App uses Google's Play Integrity API to verify that purchases originate from legitimate, unmodified copies of the App. This is a fraud-prevention tool and does not collect personal information.

Firebase (Crash Reporting)

We use Firebase for anonymous crash reporting and basic app initialization. No personal data is collected. Firebase Privacy Policy: Firebase Privacy Information.

Permissions Required

• INTERNET: Load advertisements (free version), Google Play Billing, Play Integrity
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Detect internet connectivity

The App does NOT request: Camera, microphone, contacts, phone/SMS, precise location, or external storage.

PDF Quotes & Sharing

When you generate a PDF quote, the file is created locally on your device. If you choose to share or print it via the system share sheet, the PDF is handled by the app you select (email, messaging, cloud storage, etc.) and is governed by that app's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

The App is a business tool intended for adult professional use. It is not directed at children under 13.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data on any server, there is no server-side data to access. You control all data on your device:

• Delete all quotes: Settings → Delete All Saved Quotes
• Delete all data: Uninstall the App, OR Android Settings → Apps → Cleaning Bid Estimator → Clear Data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
