Overview

Grocery & Shopping List ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our offline shopping-list application. The App works without an account and keeps your data on your device.

Data We Collect

Stored locally on your device only:

• Shopping lists and their items (name, quantity, unit, category, price, notes)
• Store names, budgets, and loyalty/coupon notes you enter
• Reusable templates and favorite items
• Price history you record for items
• App preferences (theme, currency symbol, aisle layout, sort order)
• Premium purchase status

No personal information is required — no account creation, no email, no sign-in. Your lists are never uploaded to any server.

Google AdMob (Free Tier Only)

Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising ID (for ad delivery)
• General, non-identifying usage data for ad optimization

Upgrading to Pro removes all ads permanently. See Google's Privacy Policy for AdMob details.

Google Play Integrity

To protect in-app purchases from fraud, the App may use the Google Play Integrity API, which asks Google to confirm the app and device are genuine. This check does not identify you personally.

In-App Purchases

The one-time Pro purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed. We do NOT receive:

• Credit card or payment details
• Billing address
• Google account information

Sharing Your Lists

When you choose to share a list (as text, a file, or a QR code), the content is handed to the app or contact you select. This happens only when you initiate it — the App does not share anything automatically.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Integrity) as described above
• When required by law

Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage in Android settings, permanently deletes all of your lists and preferences. See our Delete My Data page for details.

Age Requirement

This App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or who use it with the consent of a parent or guardian. It is not directed at children.
