Note: Home & DIY Calculator does not require an account. All data (projects, calculations, preferences) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data automatically.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Uninstall the App (Recommended)

Simply uninstalling Home & DIY Calculator from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including:

All saved projects, material and labour lines, and costs
Recent calculations and favourite calculators
Measurement, theme and app preferences
Premium purchase status (note: Pro can be restored via Google Play)

Option 2: Clear App Data (keep the app installed)

To delete all local data while keeping the app installed:

Go to your device Settings
Navigate to Apps > Home & DIY Calculator
Tap Storage & cache
Tap Clear Storage

Option 3: Email Request

For any data deletion question, email us at:

Subject line: "Home & DIY Calculator - Data Deletion Request"
Include your approximate device type (Android model)

What Data Is Stored Where

On your device: Projects, calculations, favourites, preferences (deleted on uninstall)
Google Play: Purchase receipt for Pro (managed by Google; we cannot delete this)
NOT stored: Name, email, phone number, financial data, location data

What Data Is NOT Stored

We do NOT store your name, email, or any personal identifiers
We do NOT store credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Google Play)
We do NOT have a user account system — there is nothing to "delete" server-side

Deletion Timeframe

Local data: Immediate (upon app uninstall or clearing app storage)
Email requests: Acknowledged within 30 days
