1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Homebrewing Lab ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use Homebrewing Lab. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

Homebrewing Lab is a recipe-design, calculation and logging tool for amateur homebrewers. Features include:

Recipe builder with grain bill, hop schedule, yeast and water profile
ABV, IBU (Tinseth), SRM (Morey), mash/strike water, yeast pitch-rate, water chemistry and carbonation calculators
Hydrometer / refractometer gravity log with fermentation charts
Brew-day timer with checklist
BJCP 2021 style guide reference
Tasting journal with cost-per-batch tracking

Educational Disclaimer: Homebrewing Lab is for educational and personal-use purposes only. Calculator outputs are estimates based on standard formulas (Tinseth, Morey, Palmer, etc.) and may differ from your real-world results due to ingredient variability, equipment, technique and water chemistry. Always practice safe brewing, sanitation and fermentation. Homebrewing Lab is NOT a substitute for professional brewing education, a brewer's judgement, or local laws and regulations regarding homebrewing in your jurisdiction.

4. Responsible Use

You agree to consume any beverages you brew responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Never drink and drive. Homebrewing volumes and distribution are regulated by law in many jurisdictions — you are solely responsible for complying with those laws.

5. In-App Purchases

Homebrewing Lab offers a one-time "Pro" upgrade that unlocks unlimited recipes, unlimited fermentation logs, PDF recipe exports and removes all advertisements. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are non-refundable except as required by Google Play's policies or applicable law. Restored purchases via Google Play are recognised automatically.

6. Free vs Pro

Free users can create up to 3 recipes and view the last 30 days of fermentation logs. All calculators, the BJCP style guide and the brew-day timer remain fully available on the free tier.

7. Advertisements

Free users see banner, interstitial and app-open ads served by Google AdMob. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads permanently.

8. Intellectual Property

All app code, calculator implementations, written copy, icons and graphics are the property of Corithm Flow Matrix. BJCP style descriptions are reproduced for reference under fair-use educational principles and remain the copyright of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that calculator outputs will produce a specific result, that recipes will turn out as expected, or that the App will be free of bugs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corithm Flow Matrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to spoiled batches, faulty equipment readings or fermentation outcomes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
