Notary Public State Exam Master ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our state-specific notary exam preparation and reference application for California, Texas, Florida, and New York.

Data We Collect

Locally on your device only:

• Selected state and study progress
• Practice exam results and per-category scores
• Notarial journal entries (if you choose to use the Journal Builder)
• Fee calculator inputs and results (not transmitted)
• App preferences (theme, selected state)
• Premium purchase status

No personal information is required — no account creation, no email, no sign-in.

Google AdMob (Free Tier Only)

Free users see banner, interstitial, and app-open ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising ID (for ad targeting)
• General usage data for ad optimization

Upgrading to Pro removes all ads permanently. See Google's Privacy Policy for AdMob details.

Firebase

The App uses Firebase Core for app initialization and analytics. No personal identifiers are collected.

In-App Purchases

The Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a purchase was completed. We do NOT receive credit card details, billing address, or Google account information.

Notarial Journal Data

The optional in-app Journal Builder is intended as a study reminder and template only. Entries are stored ONLY on your device — they are never transmitted, backed up, or shared. The in-app journal is NOT a substitute for the official paper journal required by your state's notary law. Always maintain your statutorily required journal as instructed by your state's Secretary of State or commissioning authority.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except as described above (Google AdMob, Firebase, Google Play) or when required by law.

Data Retention

All study, journal, and calculator data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data.

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for adults (18+) pursuing notary public commissions. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
