Terms of Service for Pantry & Food Expiry Tracker

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Pantry & Food Expiry Tracker ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Age Requirement

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Food-safety notice: The App helps you record and remember dates you enter. Shelf-life figures, category defaults and suggested best-before dates in the App are general guidance only and may not be accurate for your specific product or storage conditions. Always read the packaging, use your own judgement, and follow official food-safety advice before eating, cooking with, or discarding any food. The App is not a substitute for professional food-safety guidance and does not guarantee that any item is safe to consume.

3. Use of the App

The App is an offline personal organizer for the food in your home. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for any decisions you make about your food.

4. Free and Pro Versions

The free version includes core inventory tracking, expiry alerts, waste stats and shopping handoff, and displays ads.
The one-time "Pro" upgrade unlocks unlimited items, custom locations and categories, CSV and PDF export, and removes ads.
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

5. Barcode Lookup

Optional product-name lookup is provided by the third-party Open Food Facts service and is offered "as is". Product names returned may be incomplete or inaccurate.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss related to food that spoiled, was wasted, or was consumed, arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
