Overview

Mole & Skin Check Tracker ("the App") is a private, on-device tool for photo-tracking moles and skin spots. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Important: The App is an awareness and monitoring tool only. It is not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and not a medical or measuring device. It does not detect, diagnose, or rule out skin cancer or any other condition. Always see a doctor or dermatologist about any new, changing, or concerning spot.

Data We Handle

Stored locally on your device only:

Mole/spot markers you place on the body map, with labels and notes
Photos you take or choose, along with measured sizes and symptom flags
ABCDE self-check records
Full-body reference photos
Recheck reminders and their schedules
Family/monitoring profiles you create
App preferences and premium purchase status

No account is required — no sign-in, no email, no name is needed to use the App. Your photos and skin data never leave your device unless you explicitly export, back up, or share them.

Camera & Photos

The App uses your camera (with your permission) to capture mole photos, and the Android Photo Picker to let you choose existing photos. Photos you add are copied into the App's private storage on your device. The App does not access your whole photo library and does not upload your photos anywhere.

Google AdMob (Free Tier Only)

Free users see ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising ID and general usage data for ad delivery. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Integrity

We use the Google Play Integrity API to help protect in-app purchases and reduce fraud. This security check does not transmit your photos or skin data.

In-App Purchases

The optional one-time Pro purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase completed — never your card, billing address, or Google account details.

Sensitivity of Skin Photos

Photos of your skin are sensitive. They are stored only in a private folder on your device and are never uploaded to our servers (we operate no servers for your data). You can optionally protect the App with a PIN or biometrics. Export, backup, and sharing features only run when you explicitly trigger them.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal or health data. The only third parties involved are Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Integrity) as described above, and only as required to provide those features or by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored locally. You can delete any mole, photo, check, reminder, or an entire profile inside the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all local data. See our data deletion page.

Age Requirement

The App is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
