Small Business Inventory ("the App") is an offline stock-control tool that helps you track products, stock movements, suppliers, locations and reports. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled.
The App stores the following locally on your device in a private database. None of it is uploaded to us or any server:
No account is required — no name, email, or sign-in.
The App uses your camera only to scan product barcodes and to take product photos when you choose to. Camera frames are processed on your device to read a barcode; images are not uploaded anywhere.
Free users see ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising ID and general usage data for ad delivery. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
The App uses the Google Play Integrity API to help protect against fraud and tampering. This processes a device/app integrity signal through Google; it does not collect personal information.
The optional Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed. We do NOT receive your card details, billing address, or Google account information.
If you enable low-stock and expiry reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. No reminder data leaves your device.
The backup, CSV and PDF export features write files you choose to share or save. Those files are controlled entirely by you and are never sent to us.
We do NOT sell, trade, or share your data. The only third parties involved are Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Integrity) as described above, or where required by law.
The App is intended for business users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
All data is stored on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage deletes everything. See our data deletion page.
