How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Real Estate License Prep 2026 account and associated data, please send an email to:

Information to Include in Your Request
- Subject line: "Real Estate License Prep 2026 - Account Deletion Request"
- Your Firebase User ID (found in Settings → About section) OR the email/device you used to sign in
- Selected state (CA, TX, FL, or NY)
- Any additional details to help us identify your account
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete the following data from our Firebase servers:
- Cloud sync data: Study progress, topic statistics, exam scores
- Bookmarks: All bookmarked questions
- Leaderboard entries: Your scores and display name from regional leaderboards
- Question corrections: Your submitted error reports and karma points
- User preferences: Selected state, premium status, settings
- Anonymous User ID: Your Firebase authentication record
⚠️ Important: This will delete your cloud-synced data. Your local app data (stored on your device) will remain until you uninstall the app.
What Data Will NOT Be Deleted
- Question database: The 6,000+ exam questions are NOT user-specific and remain available to all users
- Purchase history: Google Play Billing handles IAP purchases; contact Google Play for refund requests
- Local device data: Uninstall the app manually to remove local SQLite database and SharedPreferences
Deletion Timeframe
Your cloud data will be permanently deleted within 90 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Alternative: Manual Reset
If you only want to reset your progress without contacting support, you can:
- Open the app
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Reset Progress" under Study Data section
- This will clear both local and cloud-synced data immediately
Note: This does NOT delete your Firebase account, only your study data.
Automatic Deletion
If you uninstall the app and do not use it for 365 days (1 year), your cloud-synced data will be automatically deleted from our Firebase servers due to inactivity.
Re-creating Your Account
After deletion, if you reinstall the app, Firebase will create a new anonymous account for you. Your previous data will NOT be recoverable.
