Overview

Sleep Sounds & White Noise ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. The App plays bundled ambient sounds for relaxation and sleep. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Data We Collect

Stored locally on your device only:

Saved sound mixes and per-sound volumes
Wake alarms and bedtime reminder times
Sleep journal entries (quality rating and notes)
App preferences (theme, timer defaults, battery saver)
Premium purchase status

No personal information is required — no account, no email, no sign-in. All sounds are bundled in the App and play fully offline.

Google AdMob (Free Tier Only)

Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising ID and general usage data to serve and measure ads. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads permanently. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Google Play Integrity

The App uses Google Play Integrity to help confirm it is running on a genuine Android device and was installed from Google Play. This protects in-app purchases against fraud. No personal data is collected by this check.

In-App Purchases

The one-time Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed. We do NOT receive your payment details, billing address, or Google account information.

Notifications

If you enable wake alarms or a bedtime reminder, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent to any server.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Integrity) as described above, or when required by law.

Data Retention

All your data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes all local data. See our Delete My Data page for details.

Audio & Health Disclaimer

All sounds in the App are original, synthesized audio. The App is intended for relaxation only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment of any sleep disorder. Listen at a safe volume to protect your hearing. Do not rely on the in-app alarm as your only means of waking for safety-critical situations.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's consent) to use the App. The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
