Terms of Service for Sleep Sounds & White Noise

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Sleep Sounds & White Noise ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to use the App.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. All sounds and content are owned by us or used with appropriate rights and may not be extracted, redistributed, or resold.

4. Relaxation Use Only — Not Medical Advice

The App provides ambient sounds, a sleep timer, breathing guides, and reminders for relaxation purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including any sleep disorder. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any sleep or health concern.

5. Alarm Reliability

The wake alarm and reminders rely on your device's notification system and operating-system power settings, which may delay or suppress notifications. Do not rely on the App as your only alarm for safety-critical or time-critical situations.

6. Hearing Safety

Prolonged exposure to loud audio can damage hearing. Please listen at a moderate volume, especially with headphones and during overnight playback.

7. In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time "Pro" upgrade that unlocks the premium sound pack, unlimited saved mixes, extended timers, all visual scenes, and removes ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Prices are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase.

8. Advertisements

The free version displays ads. By using the free version you agree to the display of ads. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that audio playback or notifications will function in all device states.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any reliance on its alarms or reminders.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
