How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Uninstall the App (Recommended)

Uninstalling the app from your device permanently deletes all locally stored data, including:

Quiz progress and per-category accuracy
Practice exam results
Study streak data
Calculator inputs and results
App preferences (theme, settings)
Premium purchase status (Pro can be restored via Google Play)

Option 2: Email Request (for any analytics data)

To request deletion of any anonymous analytics or diagnostic data, email us at:

Subject line: "Water Treatment Plant Operator 2026 - Data Deletion Request"
Include your approximate device type (Android model)
Include approximate date of last app use

What Data Is Stored Where

On your device: Quiz progress, calculator inputs, streaks, preferences (deleted on uninstall)
Google Analytics / Firebase: Anonymous, non-personal usage statistics (requested deletion processed within 30 days)
Google Play: Purchase receipt for Pro (managed by Google; we cannot delete this)
NOT stored: Name, email, phone number, financial data, location data

What Data Is NOT Stored

We do NOT store your name, email, or any personal identifiers
We do NOT store credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Google Play)
We do NOT have a user-account system — there is nothing to "delete" server-side

Deletion Timeframe

Local data: Immediate (upon app uninstall)
Analytics data: Within 30 days of email request
